Commercial

According to recent research by online travel company Expedia, Australians are the least likely in the world to take their entitled annual leave (June, 2008).  We’re spending so much time at work that the time we do spend there has to be enjoyable, comfortable and be easily accessible via public transport.  How we work is also influencing the shape and structure of buildings.  Breakout space, proximity to sports facilities and location in relation to retail space are all becoming more important to our staff

Sustainability and energy efficiency have become key factors when looking at commercial projects.  There is a growing business case for applying green principles to commercial projects.  Research indicates that while the initial outlays are more expensive (although not as expensive as is commonly believed), businesses can expect returns in the form of building valuations, employee health and improvements to their brand.

The shortage of good commercial land in Brisbane, both in terms of locality and geography means that Commercial projects are being combined with Urban Renewal projects, to make the best use of available space.
