Kallangur Rehabilitation Management Plan

Rehabilitation Management Plans are fast becoming a standard requirement for Councils approving development applications.

For this project, THG put together a park and drainage rehabilitation management plan for a new residential development.

THG conducted an assessment of the vegetation currently on the site which formed the basis for the rehabilitation management plan and to ensure any proposed vegetation was appropriate for the landscape. From this, a strategic plan incorporating a planting matrix, species, maintenance and monitoring of the park and drainage line was compiled.

The environmental aspects of a development play a big part in creating a community atmosphere – THG incorporated pedestrian walking paths into the parkland design to encourage community use of the environmental area.
